The ASEAN Naval Chiefs Meeting (ANCM) is an annual activity rotationally hosted by the different ASEAN navies and participated by the Chiefs of Navies from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam. The activity aims to further enhance the degree of cooperation and interoperability among the ASEAN navies. The ANCM is the implementation of the two-year working plan approved by the Chiefs of the Defense Forces of the ASEAN countries during the 7th ASEAN Chief of Defense Forces Meeting in Hanoi 2010.
The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) is privileged to host the 10th ANCM scheduled in 22-25 August 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, drawing the participations of the Navy Chiefs from all 10 ASEAN brothers. For this time, Enhancing Operational Interoperability was chosen as a motto for 10th ANCM.
