STRATEGIC PLAN

The implementation of strategic management which includes aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation and improvement of the achievement of the set direction is a mechanism to achieve the mission and vision of RMN. Therefore, this system needs to be developed and managed efficiently and effectively so that the desired results of the Government and the people of Malaysia can be achieved.

In order to ensure a systematic, efficient and effective strategic management, RMN has introduced the RMN Strategic Management System (SMS). This RMN SPS was developed in 2003 using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) methodology introduced by Norton and Kaplan. The plan has undergone several modifications from year to year where continuous improvements have been implemented based on current needs. To date, the RMN Map and Strategic Plan have been changed 9 times since it was introduced. The last review was conducted in 2020 to streamline and align with the ATM Strategic Management System (SMS). The RMN Strategic Plan was once again improved and rebranded with the name RMN Strategic Plan 2021 - 2025 or RMN PS 2125.

Each member of the RMN has their respective roles and duties that need to be implemented to ensure that the strategy that has been set can be achieved and to ensure that the performance of the RMN is always at the highest level.
