RMN RESERVE FORCE COMMAND HEADQUARTERS

Sungai Lunchoo RMN Naval Base consists of the HQ Naval Reserve Command and KD SRI MEDINI.  The construction of the base begins since 20 December 2016 and is completed on 31 March 2020.  HQ Naval Reserve Command is responsible for 11 RMNNV units, 11 sub-units of the Pasukan Latihan Pegawai Simpanan (PALAPES) for universities, 4 sub-units of the Pasukan Latihan Anggota Simpanan (PLAS) for polytechnics and Malaysian Institute of Skills.  This base serves as a southern regional garrison in providing welfare and logistics support to the Navy People in the Southern Peninsula.
